Badgers basketball finishes strong on Canadian tour

With the victory, Wisconsin closed its five-game Canadian exhibition tour 4-1, winning four straight games following a loss to Carleton University.
Wisconsin beat A-Game Hoops 88-76 two days earlier but had a much more difficult time on Monday. Jackson made two free throws to put Wisconsin ahead, 97-94, with 7.7 seconds remaining in regulation. A-Team Hoops made a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession to send the game to overtime.
Center Frank Kaminsky paced Wisconsin with 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three bocks. Forward Sam Dekker added 23 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Jackson finished with 17 points, guard Ben Brust had 14 and guard George Marshall added 13.
Over the five-game exhibition tour, Dekker led Wisconsin in scoring three times. Dekker averaged 19.4 points per game, followed by Kaminsky (15.0), Jackson (11.4), Brust (11.4) and Marshall (8.6).
