BEIJING (AP) - Chicago Sky center Chen Nan scored 16 points to help the People's Liberation Army team win the Chinese national women's basketball championship.

Sui Feifei, formerly of the Sacramento Monarchs, added 10 points in Sunday's 90-68 win over Liaoning province, while Liu Dan had a game-high 20 points.

Army was defending champion at the Chinese National Games. Jiangsu province won the bronze medal.

The 6-foot-5 Chen, voted most valuable player in last year's Women's Chinese Basketball Association competition, signed earlier this year to play for Chicago in the American WNBA through the 2010 season.

Chen, 26, is a 10-year veteran of the national team and played in both the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games. She averaged 23 points and 12.5 rebounds per game for her Beijing-based team last season. She also played 26 games off the bench for Chicago.
