Big 12 Showcase: Texas Tech coach Candace Whitaker

Candace Whitaker, second-year Texas Tech head coach, after playing for Marsha Sharp and leading the Lady Raiders to a pair of Sweet 16 appearances (as Candi White then) from 2000-02, leads her team into this weekend's Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship at American Airlines Center. Tech is the No. 10 seed, but in a balanced and parity-filled conference season, was just four wins away from being the No. 3 seed. She visits with Big 12 Showcase host Erin Hartigan and analyst Wendell Barnhouse.
