Zack Steffen - Clean sheet in winSteffen registered two saves and allowed zero goals in Wednesday's 1-0 win versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
ImpactSteffen stopped all of the shots he faced for a big clean sheet and upset win over Vancouver. The goalkeeper has been solid since taking over a starting job once more. While Colorado still aren't quite where they want to be defensively they have improved tremendously, giving Steffen a solid base to build from.

Omir Fernandez - Solid in winFernandez recorded three shots (zero on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 1-0 win versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
ImpactFernandez was creative throughout in a match that many expected to be stifling offensively. The attacking midfielder made the most of his limited chances on the ball and came inches away from an assist. Fernandez hasn't found much end product in Colorado but he seems to be taking a major part in the first team with a solid attacking role.

Rafael Navarro - Nets in winNavarro scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal) and two chances created in Wednesday's 1-0 victory against Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
ImpactNavarro shot three times and found the back of the net with one of them while also setting up two more chances. It was a solid offensive showing against a really strong defense. Navarro and Colorado have been surging up the standings after a dreadful 2023 and seem far more competitive in 2024.

Yohei Takaoka - Two saves WednesdayTakaoka had two saves and allowed one goal in Wednesday's 1-0 defeat versus Colorado Rapids.
ImpactTakaoka didn't face too much volume even after the sending off, stopping all but one of the three shots he faced. It wasn't enough for the draw, and it's a second loss in a row for Takaoka. This is starting to look like his 2023 campaign, a hot start followed by the entire team cooling off.

Ali Ahmed - Busy in lossAhmed registered six crosses (zero accurate) and one chance created in Wednesday's 1-0 loss versus Colorado Rapids.
ImpactAhmed was one of the more creative options out wide throughout Wednesday's clash. The wing-back did well to get involved in the attack though after the first half red card his chances to get forward were few and far between. Ahmed should have more chances in a variety of roles, with decent attacking upside, especially out wide.

Ryan Gauld - Six corners in lossGauld recorded six crosses (two accurate) and six corners in Wednesday's 1-0 defeat against Colorado Rapids.
ImpactGauld sent in six corners but failed to get too much done in a tough mid-week clash. It's a second loss in a row for Vancouver, and a second shutout as well. It's certainly been a disappointing week for the Whitecaps but they are still in a good spot in the Western conference. Gauld will have some more tough matches in the coming weeks but he has upside with his role on set pieces even in close matches.

Damir Kreilach - Targeting Miami returnKreilach (ankle) is hoping to get back on the pitch before a May 25 clash with Miami, according to Har Johal.
ImpactKreilach has been working his way back through an ankle issue and is nearing a return, but won't be back on the training ground until after Saturday's trip to Seattle. Kreilach is targeting a return to match action against Miami, though that would depend on how he responds to training.
