Zach Hrbacek - Sits out again WednesdayHrbacek (knee) once again sat out in Sam Houston's loss to UTEP on Wednesday night, per Pro Football Focus.

ImpactHrbacek has dealt with a knee injury that's kept him out since Week 4 against Houston. The tailback was having a rather quiet season prior to that injury, posting 43 yards on 19 carries as well as five receptions for 18 yards. As long as Hrbacek remains out, John Gentry should remain the clear workhorse back for Sam Houston moving forward.

Malik Phillips - Catches TDPhillips caught four passes for 48 yards and a touchdown against UTEP on Wednesday.

ImpactPhillips started slowly, and this is his first touchdown of the season, but he's picked things up recently. Over his last four games he has 23 catches for 319 yards.

ImpactIt took Smith a few games to adjust, but he's been the one Sam Houston player to take to the FBS level. He has 54 catches for 466 yards and four touchdowns, but he's also run for a score in each of his last two contests.

ImpactA former Utah State running back, Gentry has not been able to get on a roll at any point, but he got his first rushing touchdown of the season here. He's also been a part of the passing game, as he has 22 catches for 185 yards and two scores.
