Félix Bautista - Fans pair in spring debutBautista (shoulder/knee) struck out two over a perfect inning Tuesday versus the Pirates in his Grapefruit League debut.
ImpactBautista touched 99 mph on the radar gun, per Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun. He'll make another appearance Friday and an additional 2-3 after that in preparation of Opening Day. The Orioles slow-played Bautista this spring after last year's shoulder and knee issues, but those injuries no longer appear to be of concern.

Eli White - Making case for bench jobWhite went 3-for-3 with two home runs, three runs scored and three RBI in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Orioles.
ImpactGetting the start in right field and batting eighth, White took Spenser Watkins deep in the third and fourth innings. The former Rangers outfielder got traded to Atlanta in the offseason to provide some roster depth, but the 28-year-old has designs of being more than that, going 10-for-23 this spring with six extra-base hits (two doubles, a triple and three homers) and a 3:3 BB:K. He still has plenty of competition for a bench spot on the 26-man roster, particularly from Jordan Luplow, but if White breaks camp on the Opening Day roster, he could see consistent action as a right-handed platoon partner for Eddie Rosario in left field as well as a late-game defensive replacement and pinch running option.

Kyle Gibson - Doing well so farGibson has allowed two earned runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out six over nine Grapefruit League innings.
ImpactGibson has made three appearances in spring training, and he's performing just fine. The veteran right-hander signed a one-year deal with the Orioles in December, and he should be a lock for the rotation, especially given his encouraging outings so far. He struggled to a 5.05 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 144:48 K:BB across 167.2 innings with the Phillies last season, and at 35 years old, it's tough to imagine a significant improvement in his numbers this year.

Ryan O'Hearn - Out a few more daysO'Hearn (knee) is feeling better but is expected to miss a few more days of action, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.
ImpactO'Hearn's right knee remains swollen and is "still pretty sore," Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said. The former Royal has a real shot to make the Opening Day roster, so he can't afford to miss too much more time.
