Jurickson Profar - Still awaiting visaRockies manager Bud Black told reporters that Profar is still awaiting for a visa, and he's hopeful he can join camp early next week, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
ImpactBlack mentioned that Profar has a meeting with the consulate in Curacao, which could help speed the process along. Signed in the middle of March to a one-year deal, once Profar joins the Rockies he's expected to be an everyday option for the club. There is a chance that he'll need to spend an extra few days in camp before joining the major-league roster, however.

C.J. Cron - Hitting vs. high velocity machineCron will hit against a high velocity pitching machine before Saturday's Cactus League game, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
ImpactIt's another step in the right direction for Cron, who has missed most of the spring while dealing with back spasms. The slugger also went through workouts Friday before the contest, and he appears to be on the right track towards getting on the field for the Rockies before Opening Day. A trip to the injured list to begin the season cannot be ruled out yet, however.

Charlie Blackmon - Returns to lineupBlackmon (back) will bat second and serve as the designated hitter Saturday against the Guardians, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
ImpactBlackmon sat for two weeks due to back stiffness, but he appeared in a minor-league game Friday and will play with the big-league club just one day later.
