Ryan Jeffers emerges from hitless start with homer, 4 RBIs in Twins' win over BrewersThe Twins' offense was struggling. Then Jeffers had his best game of the young season and Alex Kirilloff went 4-for-4.

Rhys Hoskins - Belts second homerHoskins went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Twins.
ImpactThe 31-year-old slugger gave the Brewers an early 2-0 lead in the fourth inning when he ripped a hanging changeup from Chris Paddack into the second deck down the left-field line. It was Hoskins' second homer of the season and first in his new home stadium, and a quick start to his Milwaukee tenure has seen him go 5-for-17 through five games with five RBI, five runs scored and a 3:3 BB:K.

Joe Ross - Control issues in no-decisionRoss came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Twins, giving up two hits and five walks over 3.2 scoreless innings. He struck out three.
ImpactMaking his first big-league start since late 2021, Ross threw only 38 of 73 pitches for strikes before being lifted, although he was able to avoid any damage from all the traffic he put on the basepaths. Despite the shaky outing, he might not be in much danger of losing his spot in the rotation for the time being. Per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Milwaukee will likely need to use a six-man rotation over the next month, as the team is scheduled for 13 games in a row and 26 over the next 27 days.

Alex Kirilloff - Big day against BrewersKirilloff went 4-for-4 with a walk, a double, a triple and two runs scored in Wednesday's 7-3 win over Milwaukee.
ImpactThe 26-year-old has hit safely in all five games to begin the season, but Wednesday was his first multi-hit performance. Kirilloff is 8-for-18 (.444) to kick off the campaign with three of those hits (two doubles and a triple) going for extra bases. He slashed a solid .270/.348/.445 over 88 games in 2023 with 11 homers and 41 RBI, and if he can stay healthy Kirilloff might finally begin to deliver on the talent that made him a first-round pick back in 2016.
