News: Burke said his surgically repaired finger remains stiff and incapable of bending fully, the Salt Lake Tribune reports. "It's still stiff," he said. "... It healed, but I'm not able to bend it all the way yet. I'm going to work on that a lot." Impact: Burke averaged 5.7 assists in 32 minutes, despite having to share distribution duties with Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks. During the offseason, Burke has said he will work on his three-point shooting, ability to finish at the rim, and his defense, admitting to lacking the mindset it takes to play great defense every play.(RotoWire, )

News: Burke played 38 minutes in Saturday's contest and was able to score 12 points (5-13 FG, 1-1 FT, 1-5 3Pt) to go along with three rebounds and eight assists. Impact: Burke has shown flashes of his young talent throughout the season, but Saturday's performance is pretty much the norm from the rookie at this point in his career. He has tremendous upside although it won't likely manifest for another season or two. The 21-year-old is a great addition in dynasty leagues and will have an opportunity to improve on his already solid play during the course of his time in Utah.(RotoWire, )

News: Burke broke out of his recent malaise to post an emphatic line of 24 points, four rebounds, 15 assists, a steal, and two three-pointers in 40 minutes Sunday. Impact: This double-double was Burke's sixth of the season. Apparently, coach Tyrone Corbin finally decided it was time to let his point guard play point guard instead of having the team's shooting guard (Gordon Hayward) facilitate the offense all year despite that fact that Hayward has struggled woefully with his shot and exhausted most of the lessons that could be learned in a moribund and mostly directionless season long ago. The Jazz have three games this week, making it somewhat difficult to play Burke in most weekly leagues, but after Sunday's game, Burke's owners may want to reconsider leaving him on the bench this week.(RotoWire, )
