It's gonna be another year for the Warriors, somewhere in the middle of the pack, as usual. Been waiting since 1975 for something to happen, could it be the management?? Lots of butts in the seats so why worry???

The Lakers got Wilt, then they got Kareem, then they got Shaq....
The Warriors got........................

We will see, after tommorow,,,,

I think the Warriors top pick should be Jennings, He has already had 1 year in Pro ball with Italy, Making him more developed than Curry, Nothing against Curry , I just think Jennings is a better pick for now. If they dont draft a guard ( wich should be top priority concidering Ellis is a shooting guard, not a true point guard). They should get Hill, but there is already 2 men that seem they will be fine.

Also , I dont care what it takes but, they have to look the globe for that big mo fo that will play defense, block shots and get rebounds, But better yet PLAY DEFENSE! Ok the Warriors like to run, So thats a dream with Nelson..

Another thing Warriors fans, Were is the support on this site before the draft? We almost sell out every game with 20,000 fans, and we cant have some comments about them on this site. ??

The Warriors better do something, Because this West div is going to be much more powerfull than last year......

We all know about Nelson, the good, the Bad and the Ugly!

I have read that Boozer will be out of Utah, Maybe the Warriors can package up something with Utah

The Warriors need to draft a new coach. Don Nelson's small ball, outlaw/outrun, play-the-mismatch, burn up & burn out approach to NBA basketball is a disastrous mismatch for this team. Nellie & Chris Mullen (who was desperate to save his job when he hired Nelson) were diametrically opposed to one another in drafting players. Brandan Wright, Anthony Randolph & Andris Beidrins would be a versatile & formidable front-line on any NBA team. Put Steven Jackson & Monta Ellis in the backcourt & this is a playoff team except for one coached by the incendiary designs of a wasteful & wasted Don Nelson who manages to out-coach himself most of the time. Phil Jackson has now won 10 NBA championships without an All-Star point guard while Nelson will have the dubious distinction of becoming the winningest coach in NBA history & no NBA crown. Nelson is 20 years past his coaching prime. He was lucky to get into the playoffs with the fragile Baron Davis & anybody who thinks old Don's drunk ass could ever win a championship should check themselves into rehab.

No please not him. The last thing the warriors need is another Shoot first player. The warriors have dudes who can score.

Plus i think Nelly wants to make it work with Monta at point and Jackson at the other guard position

recluse - I'm guessing they have little choice but to go for the best point guard available at that pick. Steph Curry?

Its the 90's all over again.. This ownership is making terrible decisions, and making the players uncomfotable. Case in point ( ELLIS ) Kind of reminds me of what Webber had to deal with. That being said, Even if the Warriors annied up and paid someone top dollar, ( thats if they had cap room for it) they probably would not want to play for a organization in turmoil! This team went down Hill when Baron signed with the Clips, and Ellis fell off his moped. Then to top it off lets fine the player PUBLICLY and SUSPEND him PUBLICLY for all the players around the league to see how much an arse we are.. ......Mullin did not like how that was handled and after that Riley was an ASST GM. Mullin knew he was out the door by Nov. So this year he just kind of sat around and watched what he built go down the toilet.

I dont know what they can do to fix this scenerio,

Here is CAP H-E-L-L!

We have Crawford, Not going to opt out!

Maggette, Big time contract for a sixth man? Also I think he missed more games than Baron Davis did.. So who would want to sign him in a trade knowing he might not play.

Jackson, Best player we have , but he probably wont duplicate last year, And maybe not worthy of that Big contract either..

Ellis, The question is does he like playing for the Warriors and can he come back 100%, Nobody is going to take that risk and his big contract. Stuck with the Warriors!

Beidrins, Probably the only player worth the big contract that the Warriors have, Good improvement this year, We keep getting better, Gain some more weight and we have a legit allstar Center.

Thats why the Cap is where its at..

This really stinks. Rowell brings less than nothing to the organization and Riley is a mediocre basketball lifer. Nelson is an old timer that is just going to fade away after he gets the win record. Mullin was actually an active GM who made things happen and knows hoops. What a horribly run organization.

Riley can holler all he wants that he is not a puppet but he clearly is and has been. Rowell is already engaged in doublespeak as he kicks Mully out the door. He's a toad whispering in ear of Cohan. Disgraceful.

This was the worst season since 01/02......What is in the warriors future? Well it is 6 months of getting rid of the dead weight and adding a true point guard to run the point with a SHOOTING guard ( ellis).

I dont think a point guard is as important as our D. Yes, we dont have a true point but that is okay, we are stil scoreing with the best of them. The problem is that we cant stop anyboby. The team does get into the passing lanes and can cause turnovers, but that is not enough. in order for the team to get better and go deeper in the playoffs d will be the key!
