News: George put up 23 points (9-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-9 FT), five rebounds, four assists, and one steal in a Game 6 win against the Knicks on Saturday.
Impact: George has been playing excellently all season long, and numbers like these should no longer be a surprise to most people. His performance from the line Saturday (3-for-9) was likely a fluke, as he had been shooting 81 percent in the regular season.
News: Hibbert scored 21 points (6-13 FG, 9-12 FT) to go with 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal, and five blocks in 42 minutes of action in a Game 6 win against the Knicks.
Impact: Hibbert has not hit double-digits over his last two games, and it is encouraging to see him get out of his slump. The Pacers will need him to take control in the post against the Heat.
News: Hill (concussion) was able to start in a Game 6 win against the Knicks. He scored 12 points (2-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT) to go with five rebounds, four assists, and one blocks in 42 minutes of action.
Impact: While Hill was struggling from the field all night long, it is encouraging to see him log 42 minutes despite recently recovering from his concussion. Look for him to continue to be at the helm of the Pacers offense.
Lance Stephenson - #1 - Shooting Guard - 6'5" - 228lbs
News: Stephenson had a career night in a Game 6 win against the Knicks, tallying 25 points (9-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT) to go with 10 rebounds, three assists and one steal.
Impact: Stephenson has been relatively quiet in the postseason, averaging just 8.4 points and 3.4 rebounds prior to Saturday's performance. His career night came at the right time, though, as the Pacers will now advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
News: Hill (concussion) has been cleared to play for Game 6 against the Knicks, Pacers.com reports.
Impact: Hill missed his previous game with a concussion and D.J. Augustin started in his place. With the news of league clearance per concussion policies, expect Augustin to return to the bench in favor of Hill.
News: Augustin will start at point guard for Saturday's Game 6 against New York if George Hill is unable to pass the league's mandatory concussion test, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Impact: The Pacers are not counting on having Hill available, but there's still time before tip off Saturday night. Augustin started in place of Hill in Game 5 and had 12 points, two rebounds and two steals. Incredibly, the point guard had no assists.
News: Hill will undergo the league's mandatory concussion test to determine if he'll be able to play in Indiana's playoff game against New York on Saturday night, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Impact: If Hill is unable to pass the test, D.J. Augustin will start at point guard in his place. Recovery times vary with concussions, and if Hill passes the test, it will be one of the quicker recoveries.

News: Hill (concussion) is listed as day-to-day and his status for Saturday's Game 6 is unknown, Scott Agness of Pacers.com reports.
Impact: Hill missed Thursday's Game 5, and the Pacers are not being overly forthright in releasing information regarding his condition. His status likely will not be released until close to game time Saturday (8:00 PM Eastern).
News: Augustin started for George Hill (concussion) in Thursday's Game 5 loss to the Knicks, scoring 12 points (3-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT) to go with two rebounds and two steals in 39 minutes of action.
Impact: Augustin has not seen significant minutes in the postseason but may have an increased run if Hill misses more games. While Hill says he isn't feeling terribly, the NBA concussion rules will require medical clearance for him to return.
News: Hibbert failed to reach double-digits in scoring in Thursday's Game 5 loss to the Knicks, tallying just nine points (3-7 FG, 3-4 FT) to go with seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks.
Impact: It was clear that Hibbert was being limited by the Knicks defensively. He has scored just six and nine points in the Pacers' two losses in the series, and it is evident that the battle in the post contributes significantly in the winning department.
News: George scored 23 points (7-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-10 FT) to go with six rebounds, six assists and one steal in Thursday's Game 5 loss to the Knicks.
Impact: The Pacers had an opportunity to close out the series, but George's struggles on offense handicapped the Pacers on the road. Look for George to bounce back strong in Game 6.

Impact: Hill had been struggling with his symptoms for the past few days, and it appears he will not be able to suit up for Thursday's game. Expect D.J. Augustin to possibly start at point guard in his place. Hill should be considered day-to-day for now, but keep in mind the NBA's clearance policies when it comes to returning from a concussion.

News: Hill scored a team-high 26 points (9-of-14 FG, 2-of-6 3Pt, 6-of-9 FT) with four assists, three rebounds and one steal in Indiana's win over New York in Game 4 of their playoff series.
Impact: Hill was charged up after missing several open looks in Game 3 and was in attack mode all night long. That's a side of Hill we don't often see.
News: Hill scored 17 points (5-16 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 6-7 FT) to go with six rebounds, one assist and one steal in a Game 3 victory over the Knicks.
Impact: Hill's performance this postseason has been similar to that of his regular season, and it appears that the lingering hip issues he had may now be better. Hill has been a marksman from downtown for the Pacers, hitting 11 three-pointers over his last four games. Continue to expect the guard to be aggressive on offense, though we did notice coach Frank Vogel's use of Hill and D.J. Augustin (17 minutes) together in the backcourt to close out the game. That combination will reduce Hill's assists.
News: George stuffed the stat sheet in a Game 3 win against the Knicks, tallying 14 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and five steals in 43 minutes.
Impact: While George struggled from the field (4-17 FG, 2-12 3Pt), he managed to stay effective in a variety of ways. George has been the cornerstone for the Pacers this season, and he will need to continue to shine if they hope to advance to the conference finals.
News: Hibbert had a monster double-double en-route to the Pacers' Game 3 victory over the Knicks on Saturday. He tallied 24 points (9-18 FG, 6-7 FT) and 12 rebounds in 40 minutes of action.
Impact: Hibbert's offensive efficiency in the playoffs has improved noticeably compared to his regular-season performances. His outing in Game 3 undoubtedly helped the Pacers seal the win. He will need to continue to be aggressive and smart for the Pacers to advance to the conference finals.

News: George scored a team-high 20 points (8-of-16 FG, 3-of-9 3Pt) with four rebounds, one assist, one steal and seven turnovers Tuesday night in Indiana's loss to New York in Game 2 of their playoff series.
Impact: With more touches in 2012-13, George has experienced an increase in turnovers to 2.9 per game, but nothing like we saw Tuesday. He has five assists and 11 turnovers in the first two games of this series.
News: Hibbert scored 14 points to go along with eight rebounds and five blocked shots in 39 minutes Sunday in Indiana's Game 1 win over New York in their second-round playoff series.
Impact: Hibbert's presence in the paint, whether it be by getting a hand on a ball or altering a shot, made life difficult for New York's scorers. Carmelo Anthony had four shots blocked while a J.R. Smith attempt was swatted away three times. The playing time was a season-high for Hibbert.
Ian Mahinmi - #28 - Center - 6'11" - 230lbs
News: Mahinmi will serve as the backup center for Indiana during the second-round playoff series against New York, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Impact: Mahinmi and Jeff Pendergraph were interchangeable in the first-round playoff series win over Atlanta, but it appears head coach Frank Vogel likes Mahinmi better against Tyson Chandler. He played nine minutes in Sunday's Game 1 win.
Sam Young - #4 - Guard-Forward - 6'6" - 225lbs
News: Young has been added to Indiana's rotation for the second-round playoff series against New York, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Impact: Young will be part of the group working to defend Carmelo Anthony. He had six minutes of court time during Sunday's Game 1 win, grabbing a couple of rebounds with three turnovers and a foul. He's not expected to contribute too much offensively.
Jeff Pendergraph - #29 - Forward-Center - 6'9" - 250lbs
News: Pendergraph was fined $5,000 by the NBA for flopping during Indiana's Game 5 win over Atlanta in the first round of the playoffs, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Impact: Pendergraph took a couple of bumps from the Hawks Josh Smith before falling to the ground in an attempt to draw a whistle.
Lance Stephenson - #1 - Shooting Guard - 6'5" - 228lbs
News: Stephenson scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds Sunday in Indiana's win over New York in Game 1 of their second round playoff series.
Impact: Stephenson hasn't always been dialed into the team concept, but he's been better about that this season. Instead of leaking out on missed shots, he's hitting the boards hard in the playoffs. Stephenson's averaged 12.3 rebounds in the last four playoff games.
David West - #21 - Power Forward - 6'9" - 250lbs
News: West scored a team-high 20 points (8-of-15 FG, 4-of-5 FT) with four rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots Sunday in Indiana's win over New York in the second-round playoff series.
Impact: West was effective offensively, but also on the other end of the floor, where he made life difficult for Carmelo Anthony. The Pacers had difficulties in their first-round series win over Atlanta when West wasn't at his best.
May 5, 2013 | RotoWire
News: Augustin had 16 points (5-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT) and one assist in 13 minutes off the bench for the Pacers in their Game 1 win over the Knicks.
Impact: This was his best game of the postseason, but given how dialed in he was from distance and the fact that he played just 13 minutes, it's hard to project him duplicating this performance again unless he gets a bit more run.
