Trenton Cannon - Out of hospitalCannon (concussion) has been released from the hospital, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
ImpactCannon left Sunday's game in an ambulance after taking a knee to the head on the opening kickoff. It was since reported that he was in stable condition, and his release from the hospital is optimistic news. Still, he will remain in the team's concussion protocol going forward.

Jeff Wilson Jr. - Hurts knee in Week 13Wilson sustained a knee injury during Sunday's loss in Seattle, but he should be able to practice this week, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
ImpactAfter the game, coach Kyle Shanahan noted Wilson came out of it hobbled but didn't note a body part. On Monday, Shanahan said Wilson's knee "flared up." As a result, Wednesday's injury report will give an indication of his level of health. With Elijah Mitchell and Trenton Cannon in the concussion protocol, the 49ers have just one healthy running back (JaMycal Hasty) on the active roster.

Elijah Mitchell - In concussion protocolMitchell entered the concussion protocol Monday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
ImpactMitchell was checked for a concussion in the fourth quarter of this past Sunday's loss at Seattle but was cleared to return. He eventually finished with 22 carries for 66 yards and one touchdown and added three catches (on three targets) for 18 yards. Having said that, coach Kyle Shanahan relayed that Mitchell reported concussion symptoms Monday morning and now will be subject to the five phases of the protocol for head injuries to receive clearance for game action. Mitchell's activity level thus will be of keen interest once the 49ers resume practicing midweek. If he's able to log a limited session Wednesday and/or Thursday, he'd be trending in a positive direction ahead of Sunday's game at Cincinnati.
