Linus Ullmark - Starting in ArizonaUllmark will guard the road goal versus the Coyotes on Tuesday.
ImpactUllmark is set to play the second half of a back-to-back. He's won his last three outings, allowing just six goals in that span to get back on track after a rough December. The Coyotes' offense has been cold lately with just 12 goals over the six games, so Ullmark has a good chance to keep things rolling.

James van Riemsdyk - Good to goVan Riemsdyk (undisclosed) will play Tuesday versus the Coyotes, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports.
ImpactVan Riemsdyk missed two games with the injury. He'll likely see time on the third line and second power-play unit as he has for a majority of the season. The 34-year-old's return will bump Oskar Steen from the lineup.

Brandon Carlo - Sitting TuesdayCarlo (upper body) won't be in the lineup Tuesday versus Arizona, according to Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic.
ImpactCarlo will miss at least one game after getting injured in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to Colorado. He has two goals, 10 points, 46 shots on net, 71 blocked shots and 51 hits over 39 contests this campaign. Carlo will be replaced in the lineup Tuesday by Mason Lohrei.

Artturi Lehkonen - Joining team for road tripLehkonen (neck) will accompany the Avalanche on the team's upcoming five-game road trip, according to Evan Rawal of Colorado Hockey Now.
ImpactLehkonen, who hasn't played since Nov. 9 against Seattle, appears to be close to a return to the lineup. He was on the receiving end of some contact during Tuesday's practice, per Rawal, which is an encouraging sign. Lehkonen has generated three goals, eight points, 34 shots on net and 13 hits in 12 games this campaign.

Jason Polin - Makes NHL debutPolin had three hits over 4:22 of ice time in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over Boston.
ImpactPolin made his NHL debut after getting the call from Triple-A Colorado. He replaced Miles Wood (illness) in the active lineup, but the 24-year-old Michigan native had only six shifts during the team's measuring-stick game against one of the NHL's better teams. Wood has missed two games due to the illness and is day-to-day heading into Wednesday's contests against Vegas.
