ImpactVecchione, who inked a two-year contract extension with the Bears in February through the 2024-25 season, had been attending camp with Washington on a tryout basis. He generated 23 goals and 55 points in 68 AHL contests last campaign.

Jimmy Huntington - Cut from campWashington released Huntington on Monday to AHL Hershey training camp.

ImpactHuntington agreed an AHL contract with the Bears back in July for the 2023-24 season. He had been attending camp with the Capitals on a tryout basis. Huntington notched nine goals and 28 points in 51 contests last campaign with AHL Milwaukee.
