ImpactLyon is in the midst of a nine-game losing streak, going 0-8-1 witha 3.93 GAA and an .867 save percentage. He has lost his status as the Red Wings' No. 1 goaltender to James Reimer. Lyon is 18-16-2 with a 3.07 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 37 appearances this season. He will have a tough matchup versus Florida, who are fourth in the Eastern Conference with 97 points, 18 ahead of the ninth place Red Wings.

Patrick Kane - Saturday status uncertainKane (illness) is questionable for Saturday's tilt in Florida, according to Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press.
ImpactKane was a late scratch Thursday versus Carolina because of his illness. The veteran has nine points in his last eight games, giving him 17 goals and 40 points in 41 games. Michael Rasmussen took his spot on the second line Thursday, while Justin Holl moved up from the blue line to play on the fourth line.

Jesper Fast - Expected to play SaturdayPer Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site, Fast (upper body) is likely to return to the lineup Saturday in Montreal, according to coach Rod Brind'Amour.
ImpactFast has missed the last five games. "He's right there. If it's not the next game, it'll be the next one for sure," Brind'Amour said. Fast has six goals and 12 assists in 66 contests this season. Look for him to return to his role as a bottom-six forward.
