Connor McDavid - Provides two power-play goalsMcDavid scored two power-play goals in Edmonton's 3-2 overtime loss to LA in Game 3 on Friday.
ImpactThe Kings were able to hold McDavid to just an assist over the first two contests of the 2023 playoffs, but the star forward can only be contained for so long. He was amazing during the regular season, providing 64 goals and 153 points in 82 outings, and should continue to find success in the playoffs. McDavid's efforts Friday couldn't save the Oilers though, so Edmonton is now trailing 2-1 in the first-round series, and will consequently be in a high-pressure situation in Game 4 on Sunday.

Evan Bouchard - Records two assists vs. LABouchard collected two power-play assists in a 3-2 overtime loss to LA in Game 3 on Friday.
ImpactBouchard extended his scoring streak to six contests, contributing three goals and eight points in that span. During the regular season, he had eight goals and 40 points in 82 outings. Bouchard's two helpers Friday were recorded midway through the second period to put Edmonton up 2-1, but the Oilers failed to maintain that lead.

Adrian Kempe - Stays red hotKempe netted a goal in a 3-2 overtime victory over Edmonton in Game 3 on Friday.
ImpactKempe scored on the power play midway through the second period to tie the contest at 2-2. He's been fantastic in this first-round series, supplying four goals and five points over three contests. During 82 regular-season outings, Kempe set career highs with 41 goals and 67 points.

Trevor Moore - Provides game-winning markerMoore scored the overtime winner in LA's 3-2 victory over Edmonton in Game 3 on Friday.
ImpactMoore usually isn't the one providing those kinds of heroics. He had 10 markers and 29 points in 59 during the 2022-23 campaign, and the 28-year-old has provided just two game-winning goals over 263 career regular-season contests. Moore is on a roll though, supplying two goals and four points over his last five appearances.

Stuart Skinner - Falls in overtimeSkinner kicked out 28 of 31 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Kings in Game 3 on Friday.
ImpactTwo of the three goals Skinner allowed were scored while the Kings were on the power play, including a marker to Trevor Moore in overtime. The 24-year-old goaltender has now surrendered nine goals on 90 shots in three playoff outings this year. That's far from ideal, but given that Jack Campbell had an ugly 3.41 GAA and .888 save percentage in 36 contests during the regular season, it wouldn't be surprising to see Skinner, who had a 2.75 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 50 appearances in 2022-23, start again Sunday.

Joonas Korpisalo - Helps LA take Game 3Korpisalo saved 38 of 40 shots in a 3-2 overtime victory over Edmonton in Game 3 on Friday.
ImpactThe Kings are up 2-1 in their first-round series against the Oilers, and Korpisalo deserves a fair amount of the credit for that. While he has allowed eight goals over those three contests, the goaltender has been challenged regularly by Edmonton's high-powered offense, resulting in Korpisalo facing 116 shots. The Kings acquired him from Columbus on March 1 in the hopes that he would provide them with this kind of goaltending. The 28-year-old has more than delivered, also providing a 2.13 GAA and a .921 save percentage in 11 regular-season appearances with LA since the trade.
