ImpactOlofsson returned to the active lineup after being held out of Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Devils. He was back in his normal role, centering the fourth line with TOI on the penalty kill. Olofsson has one goal, 12 shots on net and won 32 percent of his draws while averaging 11:09 TOI over 11 games.

Jonathan Drouin - Scratched ThursdayDrouin was a healthy scratch for Thursday's game against Seattle.

ImpactRiley Tufte was called up from AHL Colorado and took shifts with the second line while Drouin watched from the press box. It's the second time in four games that Drouin was scratched, but he may resurface Saturday against the Blues. Tufte was sent back down after the game, and top-line left winger Artturi Lehkonen (upper body) was taken to a hospital following a collision with the Kraken's Jamie Oleksiak. Drouin has been given top-six minutes, including shifts on the first line with juniors teammate Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen, but he hasn't unlocked the scoring touch he briefly showed with Tampa Bay in 2016. Drouin has one point (an assist) in 10 games.

ImpactToews snapped a five-game point drought with the helper. In that span, he went minus-2 with five shots on net and four hits. The 29-year-old defenseman won't get the same all-around looks as defense partner Cale Makar, but Toews can still be a consistent contributor. He's at five points, 16 shots on net, 11 blocked shots, nine hits and a plus-4 rating through 12 appearances.

He's operated north of a point-per-game pace over the last three seasons, so this level of production is entirely sustainable.

ImpactRantanen reached the 10-assist mark with the secondary helper on Nathan MacKinnon's second-period tally. Over four games in November, Rantanen has picked up six points and 13 shots on net. The 27-year-old winger is up to 18 points, 44 shots on net, eight hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 12 appearances.
