ImpactKaprizov, who was hurt in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Winnipeg, could be out until mid-January if he doesn't have a quick recovery. He has racked up 13 goals, 34 points and 110 shots on net in 34 contests this campaign. In Kaprizov's absence Sunday versus the Jets, Marcus Johansson played on the top line and recent call-up Nicolas Petan occupied a middle-six role.

ImpactGustavsson , who is scheduled to have another MRI Tuesday, is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic. The 25-year-old netminder was injured in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Winnipeg. Gustavsson has earned a 10-9-2 record this season with two shutouts, a 2.95 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 22 appearances. Marc-Andre Fleury should see the vast majority of the starts during Gustavsson's absence, with Zane McIntyre serving as the backup.

ImpactHis one-timer from the faceoff circle gave the Wild a 2-1 lead early in the third period, but it didn't hold up. It was Gaudreau's first multi-point performance of the season, and his spot on the third line limits his fantasy ceiling, but the veteran center is on a bit of a heater with two goals and six points over the last eight games. Even though he only skates on the second unit, half of that production has come with the man advantage.
