Subbed off with injury
Sosa was injured and subbed out in the 58th minute of Wednesday's 3-1 loss versus Columbus Crew. He generated two tackles (one won) and three clearances before exiting the match.
Impact
Sosa left Wednesday's match in the second half after suffering a non-contact injury. The extent of his injury is unknown, but it will be difficult for him to be available Saturday at Toronto given the short rest.

Sosa (lower body) is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's match against Columbus Crew.
Impact

Out with leg injury
Sosa (lower leg) was not an option during Saturday's 0-0 draw to Columbus.
Impact
Sosa missed his first match since Mar 30, having started the previous three games at center back, generating nine clearances, four interceptions and four crosses (zero accurate). It is also the defender's first campaign in MLS, joining from Serie A side Bologna.

Solid performance in win
Sosa made three clearances and one interception, had two shots (one on target) and created one chance during Saturday's 2-1 win over Cincinnati.
Impact
Sosa made his second consecutive start and was solid on both ends as he imposed his will against opposing forwards in most plays while also being an aerial threat on attacking set pieces. The center-back looks fully recovered from the lower leg injury that limited him during the start of the campaign and, given how he's performed in his first two appearances since joining Montreal, it's hard envisioning him leaving the lineup for upcoming games.

Unused Sunday
Sosa was an unused sub during Sunday's 3-2 win versus Inter Miami CF.
Impact
Sosa was an option for the team for the first time since dealing with a lower leg injury. Joined from Bologna, the defender is still looking to make his MLS debut with Montreal, as long as he is back to full form.

Injured to start MLS campaign
Sosa (lower leg) is not an option during Saturday's 0-0 draw to Orlando.
Impact
Sosa's MLS debut has been delayed after picking up a lower leg injury. He joined the team on loan with Serie A side Bologna after an unsuccessful campaign with Dinamo Zagreb. If the defender is able to return to training, he could be in contention to join the squad for Saturday's trip to FC Dallas.

Sent to MLS
Sosa has been loaned out to Montreal for the 2024 season from Bologna following the termination of his loan with Dinamo Zagreb, his new club reported.
Impact
Sosa will be spending his next season of play across the pond, joining Montreal for the 2024 season. This comes after the defender was just on loan in Croatia with Dinamo Zagreb, where he appeared in only two contests. He will now hope to get more time while on loan in the MLS, which at the moment looks to be possible, with Montreal's defensive department being slightly understaffed heading into the new season. He most likely won't start, but he should still see a decent amount of time as a rotational player.

Unused in last three fixtures
Sosa didn't play in the last three matches of the season.
Impact
Sosa got a few starts in a row in February and March, but Jhon Lucumi, Kevin Bonifazi, and Adama Soumaoro were firmly ahead of him in the pecking order this season. He has appeared ten times, logging six tackles, six interceptions, 30 clearances, and three blocks, contributing to two clean sheets.

Transfers to Bologna
Sosa has signed a five-year contract with Bologna after transferring from Uruguayan side Nacional, the club announced Wednesday.
Impact
Sosa already has 36 Uruguayan first division appearances to his name at just 20 years old, and he's tallied two goals and an assist mostly from central defense. He will now be competing with Charalampos Lykogiannis and Kevin Bonifazi for a spot in Bologna's back-three alongside Gary Medel and Adama Soumaoro.
