Runner-up at Augusta Aberg carded a three-under 69 in the final round of the Masters to finish in solo second place. Impact What a first major championship showing it was for Aberg. He was able to go shot for shot with Scottie Scheffler for much of the final round. His lack of experience seem to just catch up with him as he dumped his second into the water at the par-4 11th hole and made double-bogey. Aberg was still three clear of the next closest group of players at Augusta. The Swede has all the upside in the world to win multiple major championships, but he just needs to keep gaining valuable experiences like he did on Sunday to be able to take that next step. We should see Aberg with plenty more chances to win in 2024.
