News: Thomas (quadriceps) returned to the court Sunday as a starter and produced 14 points (6-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes. Impact: Thomas didn't play his normal complement of minutes but that was to be expected considering that he's been out for an extended amount of time. He'll look to finish out a very productive season Wednesday now that he has a post-injury game under his belt.(RotoWire, )

News: Thomas is in the starting lineup for the Kings Sunday, Cowbell Kingdom reports. Impact: Thomas' status for the rest of the season was questionable, and it was announced right before tip-off that he would be starting. Look for him to play in the Kings' final regular season game against the Suns on Wednesday as well.(RotoWire, )

News: Thomas (quadriceps) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves, the Kings' official site reports. Impact: Although Thomas is listed as active, this does not necessarily mean that he will play. Chances are looking better that he will, but he likely won't see too many minutes in his first game back.(RotoWire, )

News: Thomas has an "outside chance" of playing Sunday according to coach Mike Malone, Cowbell Kingdom reports. Impact: Thomas was initially ruled out for Sunday's contest, but it looks like that could change. There is a small possibility that he ends up playing, but don't expect to put up much production if he does play.(RotoWire, )

News: Thomas (quadriceps) will not play Sunday versus Minnesota, Timberwolves play-by-play voice Alan Horton reports. Impact: Thomas remaining out will allow rookie Ray McCallum to register his 11th career start on Sunday. With the Kings' final game of the season coming on Wednesday, Thomas' fantasy owners probably shouldn't expect to use the point guard in lineups, although confirmation probably won't come until later this week.(RotoWire, )

News: Thomas (quadriceps) is doubtful to play Sunday versus the Timberwolves, the Cowbell Kingdom reports. Impact: Thomas tweeted out that he hopes to get back on the court Sunday or Wednesday, but it looks like he'll be resigned to Wednesday against the Suns, if he's going to see the floor again this season.(RotoWire, )
Sat. Apr 12, 2014
News: Thomas, who has missed the last nine games with a quadriceps injury, said on Twitter that he'll try to play either Sunday or Wednesday. Impact: The Kings host the T-Wolves on Sunday and then have two nights off, before hosting the Suns for their final game of the season. It sounds like Thomas intends to get back on the court again this season, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will happen. If you've been hanging on to him this long, you might as well wait and see what his status is Sunday. Look for Ray McCallum to continue to be a steady option in the Kings' backcourt, especially if Thomas remains sidelined.(RotoWire, )

News: Thomas (quad) will not play Saturday versus the Clippers and is likely out Sunday against the Timberwolves, News 10 in Sacramento reports. Impact: A quad contusion has kept Thomas sidelined for the last nine contests, which has enabled Ray McCallum to slot in as the starting point guard. If Thomas does, indeed, sit out Sunday, he'll only have one opportunity remaining to take the court this season (Wednesday versus Phoenix).(RotoWire, )

News: Thomas (quad) will not play Wednesday against the Blazers, Cowbell Kingdom reports. Impact: Thomas will miss his ninth consecutive game, allowing rookie Ray McCallum to continue starting at point guard. It's unknown when, or if, Thomas will return this season, as only three games remain on the Kings' schedule after Wednesday.(RotoWire, )

Mon. Apr 7, 2014
News: Thomas (quad) has missed the previous seven games, and the Kings have not decided if he will return this season, the Sacramento Bee reports. Impact: Coach Mike Malone mentioned that they are hoping Thomas will return but do not want to risk making the injury worse by playing him too early. Since the Kings are out of the playoffs, it would make sense for the franchise to rest one of their young players and avoid further injury. Fantasy owners of Thomas should consider looking for another guard and should not hesitate to cut him if a viable replacement is available.(RotoWire, )

News: Thomas (quadriceps) will not play Sunday against Dallas, NBA.com writer James Ham reports. Impact: Thomas has been out of commission for nearly two weeks, so Sunday's absence is nothing new. At the moment, the Kings have not decided whether to shut Thomas down for the remainder of this season, but in any case, rookie Ray McCallum should assume Sacramento's point guard duties Sunday evening.(RotoWire, )
Apr 6, 2014
News: Thomas (quad) is unlikely to suit up for Sunday's game against the Mavericks, the Sacramento Bee reports. Impact: Thomas has been out since March 25 with the injury but appears to be closing in on a return. In his absence, Ray McCallum has been playing the point and will likely continue to do so with Thomas out. When Thomas returns, it's possible he could be eased back in to the position but should take a majority of the minutes at point guard when he's healthy.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Apr 4, 2014
News: Thomas (quad) is out Friday at Golden State, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Impact: Thomas is out yet again Friday, making this six straight games he's missed due to the quad injury. He stated that he's unsure of when he'll play again, so Ray McCallum should continue to see good minutes in his place until more positive news about Thomas starts to come out.(RotoWire, )

News: Thomas (quad) says that he is still unsure when he will play, News10 Sacramento reports. Impact: Thomas is still unable to bend his leg, which does not bode well for his playing status for Friday. At this point, he is still considered day-to-day, but with the way Ray McCallum has been playing in his absence, the Kings are in no rush to push Thomas back before he is ready.(RotoWire, )
