News: Nash (hamstring) said in Thursday's exit interview that he's 3-to-4 weeks from getting healthy, Yahoo! Sports reports. Looking ahead to next season, he relayed, "I proved to myself I can still play at a high level. It's just how many minutes and how often. That's what I have to figure out." Impact: Nash will do everything in his power to be injury-free heading into the fall, but at 40 years old, he's unsure if his body will hold up during another offseason of preparation for an NBA campaign. With ample cap space imminent, the Lakers' summer will be one of change, but the final season of Nash's contract guarantees he'll at least be around to lend his services at the point, if healthy.(RotoWire, )

News: Nash (hamstring) will be sidelined for Friday's contest against the Warriors, the Lakers' official site reports. Impact: After dishing out five dimes Tuesday to secure the third spot on the all-time assist list, Nash and the Lakers appear comfortable shutting him down for the season in order to aid their lottery odds. However, a decision has yet to be made regarding that outcome, leaving the door open for another appearance or two. In the meantime, expect Kendall Marshall to handle the bulk of the ballhandling.(RotoWire, )

News: Nash (hamstring) is likely done for the season after suffering a setback in Tuesday's game, Inside SoCal reports. "Because I had a pretty good setback today, I probably won't play again," Nash said. "If I get a good recovery over the next week, I'd love to play again. A big goal for me was not to go into the summer injured. The fact that I had a setback today was frustrating." Impact: It is possible that Nash's career is nearing its end as well. The 18-year veteran passed Mark Jackson to move to third on the all-time assists list in his brief appearance, and will likely finish his career there. Nash's future with the Lakers will depend on what they decide to do with his contract in the offseason.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Nash has played only 15 games this season because of nerve root irritation in his back and hamstrings. He scored three points and also had three rebounds in 13 minutes. News: Nash (ankle) will be available for Tuesday's contest against the Rockets, the Lakers' official Twitter feed reports. Impact: This will be just the 15th appearance for Nash this season. He is an interesting option for fantasy owners in the playoffs right now. He could be a useful source of assists if he can stay in the game for a good stretch. One of the reasons he's still playing this season is because he's just five assists away from becoming the third player on the all-time assists list for the NBA.(RotoWire, )

News: Nash (back) expects to play Tuesday against the Rockets, the L.A. Daily News reports. Impact: Nash has struggled massively with injuries, playing in just 14 games this season. When he is able to get in the lineup, he has been surprisingly effective, while totaling double-digit assists in two of his past four games. When he does manage to get into the game, Nash has only played around 20 minutes, so do not expect him to play many more minutes than that Tuesday. Despite his age and minutes limit, Nash could be an interesting play for fantasy owners desperate for some assists in the playoffs.(RotoWire, )
